The Butler Lions Club named Eric Cranmer the Lion of the Year on Oct. 15.
A news release from the club said Cranmer was chosen because of his outstanding leadership qualities, which inspire others to join him in his efforts. His numerous successful service projects support needs in our community and beyond, and his hard work, long hours, dedication and determination have produced identifiable contributions to local neighborhoods.
Cranmer was accompanied by his wife Andrea Cranmer, as he was presented with the award Tuesday. Lions “serve” and Cranmer has more than done so, the Lions Club said.
