Police Reports

The following items were collected from various police departments:

Butler

Sept. 17 — Traci R. Bush, 48, and John Kuhn, 65, both homeless, were charged with felony trespassing related to a Sept. 17 incident on Broad Street. Police said the pair had been caught sleeping in a vacant home, despite past warnings.

Sept. 17 — Michael A. Bunch, 35, of Butler, was charged with felony retail theft related to a Sept. 16 incident at Dollar General. Police said Bunch tried to leave the store without paying for a Bluetooth speaker and pens, valued at $25, stashed in his pockets.

Cranberry Twp

Sept. 23 — Zachary T. O’Connor, 31, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest related to a Sept. 21 report of disorderly conduct at Primanti Brothers. Police said O’Connor was threatening to fight other customers, then went into the bathroom and started punching the walls. Police said when they asked O’Connor to leave the property, he refused. Police said while arresting him, O’Connor pulled away from officers.

Sept. 16 — Raymundo B. Gaspar Javier, 21, of Wexford, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a Sept. 16 two-vehicle crash on Freedom Road. Police said Gaspar Javier was unable to stand for field sobriety tests, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.269%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.

Department of Liquor Control

Sept. 23 — Hannah L. Zeppenfeld, 21, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor providing alcohol for minors related to Sept. 6 surveillance of a distributor. Police said Zeppenfeld had bought a case of beer for a minor.

State Police, Butler

Sept. 23 — Richard E. Humes, 35, of Harrisville, was charged with misdemeanor counts of marijuana possession, drug paraphernalia possession and driving on a suspended license related to an Aug. 30 traffic stop on Route 422 in Franklin Township. Police said during a search of the vehicle, they found a grinder with some marijuana in it, and a check showed Hume’s license was suspended for a DUI conviction.

Sept. 23 — Joshua M. Crispin, 36, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor counts of DUI, drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession related to an Aug. 14 traffic stop on Route 488 in Muddy Creek Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Crispin was impaired, and they found suspected meth in the woods near the vehicle. Police said Crispin later refused to have his blood tested.

Sept. 17 — Curtis J. Musser, 18, of Evans City, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a Sept. 13 single-vehicle crash on North Butler Church Road in Oakland Township. Police said Musser had driven his vehicle 50 yards down an embankment. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired. Police said Musser later refused to have his blood tested.

Sept. 17 — Gina M. Coast, 64, of Ellwood City, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to an Aug. 21 single-vehicle crash on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. Police said a later blood test showed Coast’s blood alcohol content at 0.204%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.

Sept. 17 — Emily N. Smith, 31, of Fenelton, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a July 12 traffic stop on Route 422 in Jefferson Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Smith was impaired, and a later blood test showed marijuana in her system, as well as a blood alcohol content of 0.009%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.

Sept. 17 — Jonathan D. Critchlow, 36, of Harrisville, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to an Aug. 13 accident involving a utility pole on Harmony Road in Mercer Township. Police said Critchlow sought a private tow and fled the scene. Police said they later talked with him and suspected he had been using drugs. Police said a later blood test showed cocaine and fentanyl in his system.

Sept. 17 — John J. Kamerer, 50, of Butler, was charged with felony DUI related to a Sept. 12 single-vehicle crash in Franklin Township. Police said they found a vehicle had hit a utility pole, shearing it and dropping it across the road. Police said field sobriety tests showed Kamerer was impaired. Kamerer later refused to have his blood tested.

Zelienople

Sept. 23 — Ashley M. Butcha, 28, of Ellwood City, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to an Aug. 30 traffic stop on New Castle Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed Butcha was impaired, and a later blood test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.109%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.
