Ronald Edward Kersul, 66, of Kittanning, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

He was born Nov. 27, 1957, in Butler, the son of Edward Kersul and Dolores Burrows, and resided in the community for more than 30 years.

He worked at the Moonlight Mushrooms mine and was the owner/operator of Kersul Trucking. Ronald enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger days. He also enjoyed cutting grass and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a jack-of-all-trades handyman who could fix anything and wouldn’t stop until it was fixed. He was a perfectionist.

He leaves behind to forever cherish his memory, his wife, Marian (Mary) Kersul of Kittanning; mother, Dolores Burrows of Worthington; daughter, Nicole (Josh) Barnett of Kittanning; brother, Michael (Donia) Kersul of Sarver; sister, Toni (Bill) Rice of Butler; granddaughter, Hayley Dawn Barnett of Kittanning; grandson, Dylan Lucas Barnett of Kittanning; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Edward Kersul; paternal grandparents, Charles and Emily Kersul; and maternal grandparents, Murel and Marie Burrows.

KERSUL — Friends of Ronald Edward Kersul, who died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, at SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. Funeral services to immediately follow at 8 p.m. with Pastor Robert Grimm officiating. Interment will be private.
