Doreen Theresa Anasstasi Padglek Dunsmore Albin

Doreen Theresa Anasstasi Padglek Dunsmore Albin, 75, of Butler passed away Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital. She lived in Cincinnati, Ohio, before moving to Butler in 1974.

Born on Feb. 22, 1939, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Peg) Padglek.

She was employed by Golden Check Book as a coupon salesperson. She also work as a receptionist for Greenlawn Burial Estates. She enjoyed sports, especially the Steelers and the Penguins. She also enjoyed music, crafts, bingo, computer games and watching “The Voice,” her favorite television show.

She was very strong in her Catholic faith and in her belief in God. She always had a good word for everyone and was a very beautiful and loving person. She was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian.

Surviving are her husband of 25 years, Michael Albin; her two sons, Gregory (Tammy) Dunsmore of Butler, and Jeffrey Dunsmore of Butler; her four grandchildren, Cassidy, Milana, Norman and Cassadra; her great-granddaughter, Tianna; and her uncle, Edward Mahr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Ronald Padglek; her aunt; and her three uncles.

Albin — The friends of Doreen Theresa Anasstasi Padglek Dunsmore Albin, who passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Meridian with the Rev. James Murphy, pastor, officiating.Interment will follow at North Side Cemetery in Butler.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
