Independence Health System announced that Butler Memorial Hospital has achieved several accolades for outpatient joint replacement from doctor search engine Healthgrades.

This includes the 2025 Outpatient Joint Replacement Award, which place the hospital in the top 10% nationwide for outpatient joint replacement.

Butler Memorial Hospital also received a Five-Star Rating for outpatient total knee replacement.

The hospital is one of two hospitals in western Pennsylvania to receive the Outpatient Joint Replacement Excellence Award for a second consecutive year and is the only hospital in Western Pennsylvania to receive the Five-Star Distinction for Outpatient Total Knee Replacement for a second year in a row.
