He was arraigned and placed in the county jail in lieu of $200,000 bond.
The woman contacted police at 12:45 a.m. Oct. 16 and reported she had been sexually assaulted by Bujak a few hours before making the call, according to an affidavit.
She was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital where a sexual assault test was conducted and she was interviewed by police.
Police said she reported she went to Bujak’s home in Jefferson Township during the afternoon of Oct. 15 and slept on the couch. She said she woke up around 10 p.m., found her pants and underwear had been removed and noticed a sex toy on a nearby coffee table, according to the affidavit.
She said she confronted Bujak, who gave her the clothes and took her home. She then sent him a text message, and he admitted to sexually assaulting her while she slept, according to the affidavit. Further investigation revealed Bujak sexually assaulted her, police said.
