Doris C. Barnett
Doris C. Barnett, 91, of Columbus, Ohio, died Monday at Friendship Village of Columbus. She had lived in Butler before returning to Ohio.
She was born in New Straitsville, Ohio, to Michael and Flora Mullen.
Doris was a 1935 graduate of Logan High School and a longtime member of the Linworth United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James W. Barnett, who died in 1978. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Vera Curl; and a brother, John Mullen.
Doris is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Dick Bowman of Gahanna; a sister-in-law, Carrie Mullen of Logan, Ohio; a niece, Barbara (Jack) Krannitz of Logan; a great-niece, Robin (Brad) Cline of Logan; many other nieces and nephews; a cousin, Gladys Farrell of Columbus; and lifelong friend, Norma (Bud) Claffey of Marion, Ohio.

Barnett, who died Monday, June 16, 2008, will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the <B>RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON CHAPEL</B>, 515 High St., Worthington, Ohio; 614-885-4006. Visitation also will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Eugene Folden officiating.
