Mars Library offering new programs for teens
The Mars Area Public Library is offering two new programs in the coming days aimed at teenage visitors.
On Wednesday, Oct. 30, the library is hosting a “Snap Circuits” STEM Lab, which aims to teach the basics of electricity and electronics through the circuit-building toys. Participants can use the pieces to build anything from working radios to doorbells to light shows.
On Nov. 6, the library is hosting a stop-motion animation lab, where participants will be given the tools to make their own stop-motion animated films in the style of “Coraline” or “Kubo and the Two Strings.”
