Butler County voters can drop off their 2025 general election mail-in ballots at a secure curbside location in Butler beginning Monday, Oct. 28.

County election workers will be on hand to collect and time-stamp ballots in the parking lot of the Butler County Bureau of Elections office, at 227 E. Cunningham St., between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., through Nov. 4.

The drop-off service will be available Nov. 5, but Election Day drop-off hours have not yet been decided, according to bureau spokesperson Tina Fedko. The bureau urges voters to submit their ballots prior to Election Day, she said.

Voters are only permitted to return their own ballot at the drive-through.

Those with completed authorization forms to return a ballot on behalf of someone who is physically unable to do so must return that ballot inside at the elections bureau counter.

Voters must follow the instructions provided on the mail-in ballot for the vote to be counted.
