CHICORA — The “Christmas in Chicora” craft show will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Chicora United Methodist Church, 201 Central Ave.

The event will feature homemade crafts and baked goods, as well as Naomi's famous homemade hot sausage. Lunch and takeout are available.

The Butler Public Library, 218 N. McKean St., will host its first Light-Up Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 5 in its courtyard.In addition to lighting a large traditional Christmas tree and library lights, there will be a hot chocolate bar, holiday crafts for children, a family holiday movie showing in the teen room, holiday music, caroling and a visit from Santa Claus.Other holiday library programs include gingerbread house decorating at 6:30 p.m. Dec 10. EVANS CITY — The fifth annual Cookies from the Heart/Art of the Nativity display will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 6 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 501 E. Main St.More than 50 Nativity scenes from around the world will be shown in St. John's second-floor sanctuary and narthex.The Art of the Nativity also will be displayed from noon to 2 p.m. Dec. 7.Dozens of homemade cookies and St. John's cookbooks will be for sale in the first-floor social hall.There is no admission fee.

JEFFERSON TWP — The St. Andrew's Cross band will perform “Rockin' Christmas” at 7 p.m. Dec. 7 in Concordia's Haven I Dining Room, 112 Marwood Road.“Rockin' Christmas” mixes a modern rock beat with familiar Christmas tunes.
