A fundraising bingo, sponsored by the Butler County chapter of Soroptimist International, will be Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Butler Elks Lodge 170, 80 Kaufman Drive.

The event costs $35 and includes 10 games, breakfast foods and beverages. Additional specials and early birds are available.

Doors open at 9:30 a.m. with play starting at 10 a.m. The event concludes at 1 p.m.

The event raises funds for Soroptimist charity projects, including the Live Your Dream scholarship awards. The awards, presented in April, benefit women who are heads of their households and are working to improve their lives through education. Live Your Dream recipients are often battling back from abuse and other challenges. Applications are being accepted at the Live Your Dream Awards portal at soroptimist.org.
