John L. Pintirsch
John L. Pintirsch, 84, of Renfrew died peacefully Sunday.
John was the only child of Alois Pintirsch and Klara Elm Pintirsch.
John was the beloved and devoted husband of Judith Dillon for 60 years.
John was a thoughtful and cherished father to his children, John J. (Deanna) Pintirsch of San Antonio, Texas, Michael A. (Shari) Pintirsch of Saxonburg and Patricia P. (Daniel) Meeks of Austin, Texas; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
John was a graduate of North Catholic High School and Business Training College, now Point Park University. He received an associate degree in police science from ACC. He also attended Duquesne University. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army in the military police. John established security protocols for Allegheny International and Waste Management.
He was a member of St. Fidelis Parish and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. He belonged to VFW 249. John was an active volunteer at the V.A. Medical Center for 19 years. He also volunteered at the St. Fidelis Conference of St. Vincent de Paul, North Country Trails and Butler Memorial Hospital. John enjoyed hunting and trap shooting with his sons, reading, wood carving and spending time with his family. He was the epitome of a gentleman and will be dearly missed.
PINTIRSCH — Visitation for John L. Pintirsch, who died peacefully Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017, will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.The Rev. William D.
