School to open on time after truck slams it
HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. — A suburban Philadelphia high school was to open on time today days after a man was killed when he crashed into it.
Officials said Lower Moreland High School has had its water and electric service restored and the school was to open on schedule.
Police said a truck went through the wall and ended up in the boiler room Saturday afternoon. The driver, 32-year-old Filipe Andre Pinto Silva, was killed. The crash caused a disruption in the cafeteria. But officials hope to have that back to normal by Wednesday.
