WEST MIFFLIN — Kennywood Park will beef up security after a weekend scuffle involving 50 to 75 teenagers forced the park to close early.

The fight started in the kiddie rides section of the park and then later continued at a nearby McDonald’s.

Kennywood officials asked for crowd control help from nearby police departments after teenagers became “disruptive and created an uncomfortable situation for other patrons of the park.”
