The following items were collected from the state police, Butler:

State Police, Butler

Oct. 16 — Kurt N. Weaver, 58, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a Sept. 9 single-vehicle crash on East Jefferson Street in Butler. Police said Weaver refused to perform field sobriety tests, and he later refused a breath test.

Oct. 16 — Elijah N. Evans, 22, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to an Oct. 5 single-vehicle crash on Kittanning Pike in Fairview Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Evans was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0. 117%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.

Oct. 16 — Ernest L. Seger, 69, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to an Oct. 23 single-vehicle crash in Center Township. Police said the vehicle sustained heavy damage all-around, and Seger was flown by helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital. Police said a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.197%, and in Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.

Oct. 16 — Timothy L. Gilliland Jr., 34, of Fenelton, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a July 8 traffic stop on Clearfield Road in Clearfield Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Gilliland was impaired. Police said Gilliland later refused to have his blood tested.

Oct. 16 — Ryan J. Maggie Jr., 22, of Volant, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a Sept. 29 one-vehicle crash on Route 422 in Summit Township. Police said they found the vehicle crashed into a guard rail. Police said field sobriety tests showed Maggie was impaired, and a later blood test showed amphetamine in his system as well as a blood-alcohol content of 0.102%. In Pennsylvania 0.08% is the legal limit.

Oct. 11 — Ryan J. Mauro, 22, of Valencia, was charged with felony attempted burglary and misdemeanor counts of stalking, criminal mischief and prowling related to an Oct. 11 incident at a home on Mars Evans City Road in Callery. Police said Mauro wore a white mask and attempted to break into his ex-girlfriend’s house through a window. Police said when they found Mauro, he still had the mask from the incident.

Oct. 11 — Police charged to people related to a Sept. 20 traffic stop on West New Castle Street in Butler. Kiera L. Hardisty, 22, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession, and Nicholas C. Corretti, 32, of Waynesburg, was charged with misdemeanor counts of drug possession. Police said they arrest the pair because they both had active arrest warrants, and during the arrest they found a crack cocaine pipe belonging to Hardisty and suspected drugs in Corretti’s wallet.

Oct. 10 — Benjamin D. Perdziola, 25, of Valencia, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a Sept. 23 traffic stop on Denny Road in Middlesex Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Perdziola was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.185%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.

Oct. 7 — Julie A. Bickart, 53, of Seven Fields, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to an Aug. 30 traffic stop on Route 19 in Cranberry Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Bickart was impaired, and a later blood test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.08%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.

Oct. 7 — Robert J. McLaughlin, 34, of Prospect, was charged with misdemeanor counts of drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession related to a Sept. 18 domestic incident on Main Street in Prospect. Police said McLaughlin had an active arrest warrant, and during his arrest, they found suspected drug, a needle and stamp bags.

Oct. 7 — Thomas W. Humphrey, 80, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a Sept. 14 traffic stop on Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Humphrey was impaired. Police said Humphrey later refused to have his blood tested.

Oct. 7 — Shawn D. Morin, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to an Aug. 25 traffic stop on Route 422 in Franklin Township. Police said Morin was driving despite having a suspended license due to DUIs, and officers smelled alcohol coming from him. Police said Morin was swaying while speaking with him, but he refused field sobriety testing, and he later refused to have his blood tested.
