Roberta ‘Bobbie Mae’ Squyres

Roberta “Bobbie Mae” Squyres, 85, of Saxonburg, formerly of Harrisville, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024.

Bobbie Mae was born in Sharon, Pa., on Oct. 16, 1939. She was one of 10 children born to Donald and Viola (Adams) Buchanan. She was raised in Mercer by her aunt and uncle, Robert and Dorothy Barnes.

She married Donald W. Squyres on Aug. 21, 1969, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 30, 2004.

She was raised in the Protestant faith, and she graduated from Mercer High School in 1958.

Bobbie Mae was employed as a CNA at Autumn Grove, Harrisville, for 20 years and finished her career at Grove City Medical Center for seven years.

She is survived by a son, Travis S. (Kellie) Squyres of Renfrew; two grandchildren, Maria and Ian Squyres; and former daughter-in-law, Amy Wieder of Butler.

SQUYRES — Visitation for Roberta “Bobbie Mae” Squyres, who died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Nov. 5, at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.

Funeral services will follow at noon Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Zonts, of Grace Community Church, Cranberry Township.

Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
