WPIAL girls volleyball: Freeport loses Class 3A third-place game, will miss state tournament
Freeport girls volleyball was swept Saturday by Hampton 3-0 in the WPIAL Class 3A tournament third-place game.
Hampton claimed the final spot allocated to District 7 in the PIAA tournament, which begins Tuesday. The Yellowjackets’ season came to an end with the loss at Peters Township High School.
