The Friends of the Library will hold its annual used book sale from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Butler Public Library, 218 N. McKean St.

The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will have the Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 23 at the Carousel Shelter at Alameda Park.The hunt is part of the park's annual light-up night. Take a flashlight to be ready for the search.Santa will be a special guest at the event. Divine Ridge, a Butler praise band, also will lead Christmas carols.
