Phipps Conservatory's winter show in full bloom
PITTSBURGH — The winter flower show and light garden runs through Jan. 8 at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.
More than 1,200 poinsettias and 25,000 twinkling LED lights adorn the conservatory.
A sea of lights greets guests to the outdoor garden. This year's displays include additions such as a tunnel of lights imitating a twinkling night sky.
Phipps is open 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily except it will close at 5 p.m. Christmas Eve and be closed Christmas Day.
Musical performances take place Mondays through Wednesdays.
Admission is $17.95 for adults, $16.95 for senior citizens, and $11.95 for children 2 to 18.
