EVANS CITY — St. Peter Lutheran Church, 202 Van Buren St., is holding a Fair Trade Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday and from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

There will be many hand-crafted items from various countries for sale.

Library plans grand openingSAXONBURG — The Saxonburg Public Library, 240 W. Main St., will have a grand opening from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday for the Cooper Children’s Room and Friends Book Shop.The new children’s room is three times the size of the former room, with areas for babies through 5th grade. It contains a train table, puppet theater, touch-screen computers and window seats.The Friends Book Shop is a year-round bookstore selling hundreds of books to benefit the library.

Church will host sales, card partyCHICORA — There will be a bake sale, hoagie sale and card party Nov. 25 at St. Joseph Church, 864 Chicora Road.The bake sale and hoagie sale begin at 9 a.m., and the card party starts at 1:30 p.m.
