Ethel B. Richards Dollman

Ethel B. Richards Dollman, 98, passed away at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday at the Trinity Living Center, Grove City. She previously lived in Slippery Rock and Harrisville.

She was born June 22, 1914, in Butler County to Charles Hesselgesser and Flossie (Johnson) Hesselgesser.

She was a cottage parent at George Junior in Grove City, retiring in 1983.

She was a member of the Forestville United Methodist Church.

She was the former tax collector for Slippery Rock Township. She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed crocheting.

She was first married to Donald J. Richards, who died Jan. 10, 1966. She then married Christopher J. Dollman, who died June 6, 1986.

Surviving are two daughters, D. Joan Hohmann of Slippery Rock and Karen D. Frampton and her husband, Larry, of Harrisville; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ila Margaret Walton of New Castle, Jean Kuhn of Meadville and Ruth Cooper and her husband, Glenn, of Slippery Rock; and one brother, Robert Hesselgesser and his wife, Elaine, of Slippery Rock.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; her infant daughter; one son, Walter W. Richards; three grandsons, Randy Hohmann, James Hohmann and William Richards; one sister; and two brothers.

DOLLMAN — Friends of Ethel B. Richards Dollman, who passed away Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville.The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Barbara J. Moore, the church pastor, officiating.
