Alex Alverez scored 39 points and also pulled down 14 rebounds as the Butler County Community College men’s basketball team beat Potomac State, 94-91, Friday night.
Knoch graduate Austin Miller chipped in 27 points for the Pioneers (5-8, 1-0).

Moniteau graduate Ashley Brehm scored 27 points and also had six steals, but BC3 lost to Potomac State, 117-39.
