The Butler Lions Club will have its Christmas tree sale at the Butler High School Stadium.

The times will be weekdays from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturdays starting at 9 a.m. and Sundays starting at 11 a.m.

The sale of pine and fur trees will continue until all the trees are sold.

HARMONY — Historic Harmony is accepting written nominations until Dec. 31 for Heritage Awards to be presented at its annual Harmoniefest dinner program in February.The historical society and preservation advocate that operates the eight-property Harmony Museum offers awards in two categories: preservation-restoration-renovation and encouraging local history knowledge and appreciation.Preservation-restoration-renovation nominations should detail reasons for recognizing a site and include its street address as well as the owner’s name, address and telephone number.Local history nominations should explain why an individual or organization is worthy of recognition and the nominee’s address and phone number.Each nomination must also include the name, address and phone number of the person submitting it.Nominations can be mailed to Heritage Awards, Historic Harmony, P.O. Box 524, Harmony, PA 16037, or emailed to hmuseum@zoominternet.net.Historic Harmony’s board of directors evaluates all nominations and chooses award recipients.
