The Butler Eagle is seeking original family recipe submissions for a holiday contest and cookbook.The cookbook will publish Nov. 15. Deadline to enter is Oct. 24.Recipes will be judged in seven categories: Appetizer/miscellaneous, breads, soups, salads, low-fat entries, vegetables, desserts.Finalists will be asked to prepare their dish for judging on Nov. 4.Grand prize wins a $500 grocery gift certificate.
