PENN TWP — The ninth annual Spring Garden Market and Home Show is set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 14 at the Succop Conservancy, 185 W. Airport Road.

Specialty food items, crafts, landscaping materials, live plants, home improvement ideas and other information will be provided by the vendors.

The event is sponsored by the Butler County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Penn State Master Gardeners of Butler County.

The Paul Laurence Dunbar Community Center is partnering with the Butler County Penn State Cooperative Extension, Penn State Master Gardeners and the Oak Hills Garden Club to host a community garden at the site of the former Island Playground.A planning meeting is set for 7 p.m. May 12 at the Dunbar Center, 501 Fairground Hill Road.
