Butler Library, 218 N. McKean Street, will celebrate National Library Week Monday through Saturday.

Members may enter library-themed contests for daily prizes and can receive a free DVD rental coupon. Free popcorn will be available daily. The library will offer a free hot dog, chips and a drink from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

CHICORA — Chicora United Methodist Church, 203 Central Ave., will host a craft show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday with handcrafted items and lunch for sale.

BUTLER TWP — His Kids Christian School, 650 Saxonburg Road, will hold an information session for businesses and individuals at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday regarding the PA Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC). For information or to register, call 724-352-8177 or e-mail office@hiskidscs.org.

SAXONBURG — The Saxonburg Library, 240 W. Main St., will hold a spring book sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

SRU's Institute for Learning in Retirement will sponsor a public bus trip Friday to the Westmoreland Museum of American Art for a docent-led tour.To register for the $40 trip, call 724-637-2982.

BUTLER TWP — Butler Catholic School will hold a spring choral concert, “The History of Rock 'N Roll,” at 7 p.m. Thursday in the auditorium of Butler High School, 120 Campus Lane.

CRANBERRY TWP — The Cranberry Library, 2525 Rochester Road, will hold the following events:• “Ask the Organizer,” 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, a panel from the National Association of Professional Organizers will give advice on home and office organizing• “Shreddathon,” 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, parking lot at Cranberry Municipal Building, drop off up to four boxes of paper, magnetic and digital computer media and VHS tapes to be disposed of free. EAST BRADY — East Brady Baptist Church, 508 Kellys Way, will host its second annual Let’s Go Fly a Kite Day at 1 p.m. Saturday at the former East Brady football field.Kites will be given to those without.
