Wilma Jean Lewis, 88, of Cabot, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024.

Born June 19, 1936, in Josephine, Pa., she was the daughter of Russell Stout and Dorothy Layton Stout.

Wilma was a devoted homemaker, who dedicated her life to her family. She had a warm and loving spirit and took great joy in celebrating the holidays surrounded by those she loved. Known for her skill in arts and crafts, she shared her creativity with her family, and her baking was a cherished highlight of family gatherings.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kim (Larry) Micohn of Happy Valley, Ore., and Marcy (Thomas) Canel of Saxonburg; her stepdaughter, Barbara (Jerry) Patterson of Spring, Texas; her sister, Janice Rizzardo of Conneaut; and her brother, James (Mary Anne) Stout of Kittanning. Wilma leaves behind a legacy of love in her grandchildren, Michael (Mary) Raszka, Tanya Ambrose, Susan (Eric) Noski, Lisa (Matt) Smith, George Ambrose, Erin Tarkington, Bailey Lewis, Chelsea Ambrose, Maddie Canel and Lilly Canel, as well as eight great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert Lewis on July 29, 2016.

Wilma's family and friends will deeply miss her gentile presence, her laughter and her warm heart. She will always be remembered by her family for her strength and kindness.

LEWIS — Private services were held for Wilma Jean Lewis, who died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024. Burial was at the Sarverville Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to FOX FUNERAL HOME, Saxonburg.
