“Maple Madness,” a look at the history of maple sugaring, will be presented by the Audubon Society on March 31 at the Succop Conservancy, Airport Road. The program also will be presented March 24 at Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve in Fox Chapel. Pancake breakfast seatings start at 10 a.m. and last call is at 1:30 p.m. Register by calling 412-963-6100 or visiting www.aswp.org. Cost is $10.

Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township, will show how sap taken from a maple tree becomes syrup on the breakfast table during a program at 2 p.m. March 25. This is an annual free program. Registration is not required, but arrive early to get a seat. Jennings is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and on weekends as scheduled. The trails are open daily from sunrise to sunset. Call 724-794-6011.
