Robert P. Taylor
Robert P. Taylor, 75, of West Deer Township passed away Saturday in his home with his family at his side.
Born on Feb. 22, 1939, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Richard and Sarah Dillon Taylor.
He was a proud, hardworking ironworker, who was also known as “MacGyver.”
Bob was fun-loving and enjoyed life, especially spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Amy E. Taylor of West Deer Township; his children, Laurie Austin, Robert P. (Linda) Taylor Jr. and Amy (William) O'Connor; his eight grandchildren, Douglas, Justin, Stacey, Shaun, Lukas, Robert, Jenna and Courtney; and his great-granddaughter, Gillian.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Beth Ann Bertha.
Taylor — A memorial service for Robert P. Taylor, who passed away Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, will be at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 8 at the St. Victor Roman Catholic Church, 527 Bairdford Road, Bairdford, with the Rev. Charles Speicher officiating.
