Audrey C. Hilliard

Audrey C. Hilliard, 66, of Renfrew, died Thursday at Fair Winds Manor in Sarver.

Born Nov. 7, 1937, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of John and Mary Jean Beveridge Groth.

She was a former school bus driver for Bauman Bus Co. and Desmond Bus Co., and drove for Butler and South Butler school districts.

She was a former member of Renfrew Methodist Church. She also enjoyed bingo, card-playing and needlepoint. She graduated from Butler High School in 1955.

She is survived by her husband, Jules H. Hilliard, whom she married July 3, 1974; a son, Thomas Sims of Butler; and six daughters, Mrs. Anthony (Sharon) Fazzino of Clintonville, Ms. Jennifer McKee of Chicora, Mrs. Duwayne (Tracy) Osborne of Crossville, Tenn., Mrs. Jeffrey (Becky) Montgomery of Renfrew, Marcia Cunningham of Crossville, Tenn., and Brandi Hilliard of Renfrew.

She also is survived by 16 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

HILLIARD - Friends of Audrey C. Hilliard, who died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday atTHOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Steve Hanson, of Christ Community Fellowship Church in Natrona Heights, will officiate. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park.Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Butler County Unit, P.O. Box 3014, Butler, PA 16003.
