Elsie J. Double

Elsie J. Double, 75, of Connoquenessing Township passed away Wednesday in the comfort of her home.

Born Dec. 18, 1941, in Parker. She was the daughter of the late John Montgomery Jr. and Nancy Levier Montgomery.

Elsie was a fighter. She enjoyed crocheting. Above all, she loved her family dearly and was a super grandma. She will be dearly missed.

Elsie is survived by her five children, Daniel (Dottie) Double III, Belinda Double, Kelly (Chester) DeWitt, David Double and Nathaniel Double; 10 grandchildren, including Kristina Bland; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Harriet (Larry) Miller and Marilyn Juresta.

In addition to her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Double; her sister, Betty, and her brother, Sonny.

DOUBLE — In accordance with the family's wishes, all services for Elsie J. Double, who died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, will be held privately.Arrangements have been entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
