Robert Kelly Mason
Robert Kelly Mason, 87, of Sarver peacefully passed from our world to his Heavenly Father's on Monday.
He was born April 7, 1925, to the late Charles and Myrtle (Kelly) Mason.
He retired from Burrell Construction. A veteran of World War II, he served in the China-Burma-India war theater. He was a certified pilot, a member of Alhambra and a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Betty (Agnic) of 59 years; their five daughters, Joan Halderman, Jane (William) Sherry, Mary Beth (Harry) Wonders, Kelly (Michael) McGrane and Carol Bastin; and foster son, Sean Krings. He also is survived by 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Rita Shelton and Rosemary Heilburn; and brothers, William and Lee.
Robert was preceded in death by his sisters, Dolores Kusulman and Ann Krings, and his brother, Thomas.
MASON — Friends of Robert Kelly Mason, who passed away Monday, June 11, 2012, will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday with a rosary beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. A Catholic Christian Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Cabot, officiated by the Rev. Ward Stakem.
