Butler Memorial Hospital is hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, Nov. 19.

The drive is in partnership with Community Blood Bank, and it will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 19 in the Nixon Sarver Classroom, located near the Tower Entrance at 1 Hospital Way, Butler.

Donors can preregister by calling 1-877-842-0631, or online at fourhearts.org. Walk-ins are welcome, but scheduling is encouraged, according to a news release from Independence Health System.

To be eligible, donors must be at least 17 years old, or 16 with parental consent, weigh at least 110 pounds, have no tattoos or piercings newer than three months, and be in general good health. A photo identification is required to give blood.
