“Robot” by Mike Rehm is one of the entries competing for best redecorated rack box in the “Caring at Christmas” fundraising effort. The artistic pieces are on display at Clearview through Friday.

Associated Artists of Butler County member artists are helping to promote the Butler Eagle’s new “Caring at Christmas” charity drive with pieces of art created from newspaper rack boxes.

The former newspaper-dispensing boxes are on display at Clearview Mall at the main corridor, near Texas Roadhouse.

The public can vote for their favorite machines by depositing quarters in the machines of their choice.

The winner of the art contest will be decided based on the amount of money donated to each rack box by Friday.

Proceeds benefit Butler County Child & Youth Services.
