Margaret F. "Peg" Ainsworth, 84, of Mars, formerly of Hampton Township, died Tuesday.

Born July 10, 1921, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Alex and Rose Murphy Gailliot.

She was a former member of the North Hampton Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and St. Catherine of Sweden Roman Catholic Church, where she was active in the Ladies Guild.

Mrs. Ainsworth retired as a secretary at Ro-Cel Electronics, Etna.

Surviving are two sons, Robert W. Ainsworth of Imperial and William R. Ainsworth of Mars; two sisters, Rose Mary Furrer of Pittsburgh and Ann Koglin of Hampton Township; a brother, Charles "Bus" Gailliot of Missouri; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ainsworth, who died in 1972; a son; two sisters; and two brothers.

AINSWORTH - Friends of Margaret F. "Peg" Ainsworth, who died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Friday at HERBERT R. KING JR. FUNERAL HOME, 2841 Woodland Circle at Route 8, Hampton Township. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Catherine of Sweden Church, Hampton Township.
