Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., presents a Spring Garden Lecture series beginning April 17 with a talk from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. by Dixie Lipnichan, Japanese Language and World Cultures teacher at Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School. She will present a lecture on the symbolism of Asian flowers. The day will also include a tour of the museum, and a luncheon. The cost is $20 for nonmembers, and $15 for members. Bottlebrush Gallery, 539 Main St., Harmony, presents the art of Luke Homitsky through Sunday. The Pittsburgh artist's latest installment explores the process of making the marks that create his artwork.
