Charity Kemper, 94, of Butler passed away on Friday, Nov. 8, 2024.

She was born in Butler on April 24, 1930, to the late James McLaughlin and Alice (Pew) Gray.

Charity was a lifelong homemaker and was known for being gentle, but hardworking, and a good mother. She loved her family and her grandchildren. Charity was a member of the French and Belgium Club.

Charity was the beloved wife of the late Dean Kemper; mother of Bob (Lil) Kemper and Ed (Jeanne) Kemper; and grandmother to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, Charity was preceded in death by her daughters, Clara Bopp and Karen Kemper; and several brothers and sisters.

KEMPER — All arrangements for Charity Kemper, who died Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, were made privately at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

Burial was held privately at Greenlawn Burial Estates.
