Butler County Community College women’s volleyball ended its season with a win.
The Pioneers (25-2) beat Rochester 3-1 in the ninth-place match during the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III tournament in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Saturday.

Rudy Fitzgibbons III drained a 3-pointer at the buzzer, handing Fairmont State a 78-75 win over Slippery Rock on Saturday.
The Rock (2-2) have lost twice by one score.
SRU got 21 points each from Jomo Goings and Ike Herster.
Kayley Joseph-Bernard scored 15 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out four assists to lead Slippery Rock to a 69-59 win Saturday over Salem.
SRU improved to 2-2.
Brooklyn Jones had 12 points and Regan Atkins 11 in the win.
Mikayla Johnson recorded her first double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds to lead Pitt to a 61-56 road win over Binghamton on Sunday.
Aaryn Battle had 15 points, and Khadija Faye had 12 points and eight rebounds for the Panthers (3-1)
