Brian S. Ashe, 53, of Fenelton, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, Nov. 15, 2024, at home while in the company of his father and brother following a courageous battle with cancer.

Brian was born in Butler on April 27, 1971. He was the son of Harry J. Ashe of Fenelton and the late Priscilla E. Lamory Ashe.

He was a 1989 graduate of Butler Area High School and had been employed by Wolfington Body Co. as a parts courier. Brian enjoyed golfing and fishing.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his brother, Steven D. Ashe of Fenelton; and his aunts and uncles, Richard and Rosemary Ashe of Butler, Michael and Denise Lamory of Springfield, Mass., Judy Camarroti of Flowery Branch, Ga., Alice and Leo LaBay of Las Vegas, and June Malenfant of Springfield, Mass.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by an aunt, Barbara Hawryliak, and an uncle, Walter “Sonny” Lamory.

ASHE — A funeral Mass will be celebrated for Brian S. Ashe, who died Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 668 Clearfield Road, Fenelton, with the Rev. Matt McClain, pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, officiating.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to a cancer research charity.

Arrangements are under the direction of HILE FUNERAL HOME, 339 Chicora-Fenelton Road, Chicora.
