The Cranberry Rotary Club – Sunrise commemorated its 25th year of existence with a special anniversary dinner at Cranberry Highlands Golf Course on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
More than 55 members of the service organization celebrated all that the club has achieved through its two and a half decades.
“It’s really tremendous,” Shawn Firster, president of Rotary Club of Cranberry Township Sunrise, said. “We’re very active in the community. It’s humbling to see the projects that have been done over the years to help the community in a variety of different ways, either through community days or fundraising events that go toward local charities.”
Members of the club had the opportunity to eat and enjoy Firster’s creative slideshow that depicted everything the club has been involved in through the years.
“Tonight was a good opportunity to appreciate what we’ve done,” added Firster.
