William J. Klinko
William J. Klinko, 93, of Renfrew passed away Monday afternoon at his home.
Born in Peckville, Pa., he was the son of the late Bernard and Anna Bagnick Klinko.
He was the husband of the late Dolores C. Rainsburger Klinko.
He was a proud World War II veteran, having served as a radio operator and navigator on Douglas C-47 troop transports.
Following the war, he graduated from college and became an electrical engineer, working in the aerospace industry. He lived and worked in Delaware and Illinois before settling in suburban Philadelphia where he made his home and raised his family.
Following the death of his wife, Dolores, he relocated to Renfrew. He enjoyed maintaining his home, gardening, spending time with good friends and family and especially fishing. He was fiercely independent, living alone until his death. He was a man of the Greatest Generation, but to his family, he was just the Greatest.
Surviving are two daughters, Dolores Cenci and Kathleen (Raymond) Elliott; and one son, William R. Klinko.
He also is survived by his grandchildren, Melissa, Stephen and Alicia Tolton, Christie and Kenny Cenci and Katie and Jacob Klinko; and his great-grandchildren, Nate and Josh Cuff.
He was preceded in death by his five sisters, Alice Klinko Juenger, Stella Klinko Schorsch, Helen Klinko, Elizabeth Klinko Medalis and Dorothy Klinko; five brothers, Joseph, Edward, Paul, Robert and Richard; and his infant brother.
Also preceding him in death are his daughter, Evelyn Klinko Tolton; and his daughter-in-law, Jill Klinko.

Decker Funeral Home, 702 River St., Peckville, Pa.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Christ the King Parish at Saint Mary's of Czestochowa Church in Eynon, with the Rev.
