Scheehle

William “Bill” Scheehle, 81, of Parker, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024, at Clarview Nursing Home after a period of declining health.

Born on Nov. 1, 1943, he was the son of the late William and Phyllis Scheehle.

Bill served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1966. He then spent his career as an over-the-road truck driver, with his latest place of employment being Superior Carriers Karns City Terminal. Bill always looked forward to his breakfast trips with his friends on the weekends. He was a Parker City Fire Company member, former ambulance service, and a social member of the Parker VFW Post 7073.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Anthony Scheehle; sister, Jean Nagel; his daughters, Kim (Jeff) Heller and Kris Alworth; sons, Terry (Sue) Scheehle and Michael (Melissa) Alworth; brother-in-law, Walter (Randa) Anthony; sister-in-law, Karen Anthony; grandsons, Taylor (Emily) Alworth and Braden (Brittany) Alworth; granddaughter, Stephanie Irwin; and great-grandchildren, Adiah, Rowen, Madi, Ben, Tucker and Jonathon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, Robert (Blanche) Anthony; brother-in-law, Sheldon Anthony; a son, Mark Alworth; and great-granddaughter, Lily Alworth.

SCHEEHLE — Per his wishes, funeral arrangements will be private for William “Bill” Scheehle, who died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parker City Volunteer Fire Department.

Arrangements have been entrusted to H. JACK BUZARD FUNERAL HOME, 201 S. Wayne St., Parker.
