State police are looking for suspect after pedestrian is struck in grocery store parking lot

Pennsylvania State Police are seeking a suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash that injured a pedestrian at a grocery store parking lot in Saxonburg.

The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24 at Sprankle's Neighborhood Market, 270 W. Water Street.

According to state police, the driver of a Chevy Malibu backed out of a parking spot and hit a pedestrian in the process.

The vehicle left the scene immediately in an unknown direction, leaving the victim with injuries, but the extent of those injuries was not disclosed by police.

No other details are available at this time and anyone with information is encouraged to reach out to the state police.
