Hands that rocked the cradle from the moment of our birth

Our mother's tender touch remembered by us here on earth

Soft as silk our mother's hands, they taught us how to pray

Calming childhood fears, they soothed each one away

When we grew much older, and troubles came our way

Our mother's hands caressing ours, did more than words could ever say

Our mother's hands were gentle, they're missed so very much

We'd give the world to feel once more, our mother's warm and tender touch

Her hands were full of comfort, now in Heaven they are at rest

Memories hold our mother close, in our hearts she was the very best
