Tim and Scott Hutchison

Tim and Scott,

This is the first Christmas without you both and our hearts are broken knowing our family can no longer be together. I think back to all our previous holidays when you were here and the fun we had getting together and just talking and enjoying each other’s company. I often cry because I know things are forever changed.

You would be devastated if you were to know that Dad is in a nursing home now because he can’t take care of himself and he has dementia and that is another heartbreak we are trying to deal with. Mom has been so strong I sometimes wonder how she goes on and keeps this family together. She just says my boys would want me to keep going.

If I had one Christmas wish that could be granted, I would ask to have you back and dad home so that we could be a family one more time and tell teach other things we didn’t get to say before. I can only wish you a Merry Christmas and keep our memories near and dear in my heart.
