Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528 near the intersection of Routes 8 and 173, Slippery Rock, will help visitors explore the world of bats at 7 p.m. Sunday. During an indoor introduction, participants will discover the benefits bats provide as valuable insectivores. Tips will be offered on how to provide optional roosting sites to exclude bats from a home. The program will conclude outdoors to gain a new appreciation for the adaptations of bats and other nocturnal creatures. Jennings is open from sunrise to sunset for hiking.
