Bartramian Audubon Society will have a birds and nature festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the Franklin-Oil City area. Nature hikes, bird walks, numerous workshops, and an owl prowl are in the works. Call 814-437-5858.

Lutherlyn in Prospect will hold its annual spring open house and Earth Day celebration from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Activities will include a camp tour, crafts, a blacksmith demonstration, hay rides, a treasure hunt for children, canoeing and kayaking, games, sports and pony rides. Admission is free. An all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage meal will be available from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. for $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for those younger than 5. Jennings Environmental Education Center will host a two-day fly fishing clinic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 16 and at an off-site location on May 17 for those age 10 and older. The fee is $15 and registration is required. Jennings is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and on weekends as scheduled. The trails are open daily from sunrise to sunset. Call 724-794-6011.
