Frank Pichler

Frank Pichler, 87, of Butler, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024.

He was born in Lyndora on Dec. 27, 1936, to the late Frank and Stella (Bronchak) Pichler Sr.

Frank graduated in 1955 from Butler Area School District. He then honorably served in the U.S. Army for two years. He was employed at Armco Steel for 42 years, until he retired in 1997. Frank was a member of American Legion Post 778. He will be forever loved and missed by his family.

Frank was the beloved husband of Sally (Lackey) Pichler since their marriage in 1960; father of Vicki (John) Koch, Matthew (Sharon) Pichler and David Pichler; brother of Marie Kline, Patricia (Robert) Kosar and Robert Pichler; grandfather of numerous grandchildren; and great-grandfather of three.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws.

PICHLER — All services for Frank Pichler, who died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, were held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

Burial will be held at Butler County Memorial Park. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
