Mary Zbyrad Scobel
Mary Magnellan Zbyrad Scobel, 94, of Sunnyview Home died Monday afternoon at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 23, 1913, in Long Island, N.Y., she was the daughter of Peter and Eva Zbyrad.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, polka music and bingo.
Mrs. Scobel was a Catholic and belonged to the Polish-American Society.
One of the most important things in her life was to go to Life Steps, where she received an award for faithfully attending for 10 years.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Geraldine Scobel of Prospect, and a niece, Madaline Sudnik of New Kensington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Scobel, who died June 10, 1993; a son, Andrew Scobel Jr.; a sister; Blanche Sudnik, and a nephew.
