Marian Menell, 93, of Butler passed away Sunday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born April 23, 1918, in Butler to the late Charles Foringer and Sophronia (Cooper) Foringer.

Mrs. Menell was part owner and operator of the Vin-Mar Restaurant.

She was an active member of the Butler Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the Butler Chapter 45 of the Eastern Star and the White Shrine.

Mrs. Menell was a member of the St. Peter Episcopal Church.

She enjoyed playing cards.

Mrs. Menell is survived by one son, Charles Vincent (Maryanne) Menell of Phoenix, Ariz.; one daughter, Cynthia (Henry) Dimmick of Butler; three grandchildren, Mason Menell and Taylor and Hunter Dimmick; and three nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Menell, who she married Aug. 1, 1942, and who passed away Jan. 28, 1974; and an infant son.

MENELL — Funeral services for Marian Menell, who died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Butler County Memorial Park with Father James Salberg, of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will take place in Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VNA In-Patient Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001 or to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.Arrangements are under the direction of
